Who we are & what we do

Ramsey Town Council consists of 17 elected councillors who serve for a four year term. We also have a Mayor and Deputy Mayor who serve a one year term.

The Council Office is located at 11 Great Whyte, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire PE26 1HG

Council Meetings - see the diary of meetings for more information. The public is welcome to attend Full Council meetings. Meetings of the working parties are private meetings.

Meetings

The Full Town Council consisting of 17 Councillors including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor meets twice a month to discuss issues and make decisions. The Full Town Council discusses planning applications at it's planning meetings, these may be cancelled if no applications are received.

The Council also forms Working Parties from time to time to consider specific issues, they can not make decisions on behalf of the Council but can make recommendations to Full Council.
